College and Career Center

The College & Career Center is devoted to helping GBHS students on their journey to college and onward to future careers. Open every school day from 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, the College & Career Center is well-stocked with information on numerous items and events, including PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams, scholarships, financial aid, NCAA, and other career-oriented information.  Mrs. Cindi Underwood will be more than happy to assist you!

Speakers

The College & Career Center invites numerous guest speakers to the GBHS campus throughout the year, including:

  • Representatives from University of California campuses.
  • Representatives from CSU campuses.
  • Representatives from community colleges.
  • Representatives from private colleges and unversities from across the nation.
  • Representativesfrom vocational and technical schools such as FIDM (Fashion Instituteof Design & Merchandising), Graphic Arts College, Beauty College,Commercial Artists & Modeling.
  • Representatives from all branches of the United States armed forces.
  • Representatives from ROTC programs for Air Force, Army, Navy, and Marines.

The College and Career Center also offers eChoices, an internetservice with skills assessment and college search, available to allstudents.
